My two pre collections; experimental (left) and functional (right) had too much going on. I really dislike them both. I dislike the colour, the shapes and even the cads!

There are elements I like, for instance the reversibility of the functional collection and the transformational qualities of the experimental. Some pieces would transform in to a tent. I like the unique way of experimenting with post consumer neoprene too.

This is my next pre collection line up.The difficulty is, to make the tent transformation work I need to toile it. This is before the development stages of what my collection is roughly to look like. Ideally it will be fully reversible too, excpet for the backpack which transforms in to a sleeping bag.

The jumpsuit layed out flat will look like this and will have the tent pole cases where the tent poles will go to make up the structure of the tent. The two shells will go over these, one acting as a shelter and the other a wind and rain protection layer.

This is the range plan for my final collection as it stands. The sleeping bag rolls out of the backpack and the backpack is used as a pillow. It is far from perfect and badly drawn. I found it was hard to draw them out without knowing how I am going to make them as I am such a huge fan of modelling on a stand.

After the toiling process this is how my collection stands. I am pleased with the colour and silouhettes but feel as though some garments are too standard and could be pushed a little further, yet in the time scale I have had I am really happy with the outcome.
